Alloy Wheel Repairs

Scuffed and kerbed alloys are unfortunately part of a driver’s daily battle. However at A1 Independent Garage (in association with Revive UK) now there is a way to repair minor damage to wheel spokes and rims in a convenient and cost-effective manner. At our facility we have fully qualified Revive smart-repair technicians who can carry out alloy wheel refurbishment and repairs to high standard, ensuring your wheels are looking their best.

Our alloy wheel repair will include:

  • Paint repairs to damaged alloy wheels
  • Minor defects repaired on alloy wheel spokes and rims
  • Cosmetic repairs to alloy wheels

Please note: we are not able to repair buckled wheels or cracked wheels where there is physical strucutral damage.

How do we refurbish and repair alloy wheels?

Our expert Revive technicians follow industry guidelines and repair techniques to refurbish damaged alloy wheels. Firstly the damaged area is prepared, sanded and a layer of special purpose primer is added. The area is then painted, lacquered and left to dry. Generally, wheels are left on the car but in some cases we may remove wheels from the car or remove the tyre from wheel.

How we price alloy wheel refurbishment and repairs

The costs are usually fixed and per wheel, however, prices may vary depending on the damage, so we recommend you take photos and email us or let us see the car! It should also be noted that polished lip / diamond cut and special effect wheels may cost more than standard alloys. In some cases we may not be able to repair some wheel types.
